Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a method that has long been used to treat various skin conditions. The basis of the treatment is the injection of active substances directly into the affected area of skin. This method of treatment was invented by French doctor Michel Pistor. It was initially used for treating conditions such as migraines, neurological illnesses, varicose veins and respiratory diseases. It has experienced something of a renaissance since the 1970s, especially in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Mesotherapy is a non-surgical method of skin regeneration used for the following: improving the appearance of the skin, rejuvenation, cellulite treatment, stretch marks, and the treatment and prevention of alopecia (hair loss). Superficial injections of an active substance improve microcirculation in the subcutaneous tissue and increase metabolism in the adipose tissue (lipolysis). This method owes its popularity to its swift revitalising effects, which promotes the wellbeing and satisfaction of the customer.

Treatment fields

  • Localised skin sagging
  • Prevention of wrinkles
  • Tired skin
  • Cellulite (thighs, belly, buttocks)
  • Gaps in the muscle (stretch marks)

Advantages of Mesotherapy

  • It is a natural, non-surgical method.
  • The skin is supplied with nutrients and moisture - nutrients are injected through the skin barrier.
  • Long-lasting effect
  • Wrinkles are smoothed out
  • Hair condition is improved
  • The skin becomes smooth again and skin condition is quickly improved
  • Years of experience

Procedure

The active substances are selected on an individual basis for each customer and a special mixture is prepared. The substances are then injected using a very thin needle. Injections are made every 0.5-1.5 cm. They are almost pain free as the needle does not reach the adipose tissue. The treatment is followed by a short massage.

Mesotherapy against hair loss

Mesotherapy is a highly versatile treatment and combats skin aging as successful as hair loss. Many men already suffer under thinning hair and increasing hair loss at a younger age, which is often caused by genetic alopecia and makes them appear considerably older and less dynamic than men of the same age with full hair. For those suffering under alopecia, the hormone testosterone shrinks the hair roots on the back of the head and temples, and finally they stop growing altogether. The consequences are an unattractive receding hairline or even baldness.

The acts mesotherapy through the application of a special vitamin solution in several meetings effectively counter: The hair loss is slowed or stopped entirely and the hair is stimulated to renewed growth. The first results are already visible after a few weeks: The hair is fuller, thicker and the scalp also recovers .

Skin rejuvenation

Mesotherapy is used as a preventive measure to reduce the symptoms of skin aging such as wrinkles, skin sagging and thinning. It can be used in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments. An appropriate cocktail is used for Mesotherapy treatment of skin on the face, neck and décolletage. The mixture of revitalising and regenerating substances (such as hyaluronic acid and multivitamins to stimulate cell metabolism) improves the condition of the skin. Following a series of treatments the skin immediately looks better as small wrinkles disappear and deeper wrinkles are reduced.

Mesolift - rejuvenation cocktail

Mesolift is one of the facial treatments available. This treatment intensively nourishes the skin and reduces wrinkles. Mesolift cocktails consist of hyaluronic acid - with a moisturising effect, polylactic acid - the body's natural method for a strong regenerative effect - and a specified amount of botulinum toxin (Vistabel). Thanks to the vitamins, micro-elements, amino acids and nucleic acids, the cocktail quickly regenerates the skin, improving its elasticity and tightness. The effects are visible after just one treatment. The face appears healthier and more radiant.

Hyaluronic acid

This is one of the substances found in the intercellular spaces in the skin. Chains of hyaluronic acid are found between the collagen fibres and they strongly attract water - acting like a kind of molecular sponge.

Pre Mesotherapy

You should not take any aspirin for 7-10 days before treatment. No topical numbing cream may be applied immediately before the treatment (1-2 hours).

Risks & Side effects

Pain is rare, but can be reduced by applying a topical numbing cream. Redness and slight swelling can appear immediately after the treatment and last only for a short time. In rare cases, allergic reactions to one of the ingredients can occur. Small bruises are often associated with having previously taken blood-thinning medication such as aspirin.
