Overview of an EMSCULPT® NEO treatment

A course of treatment with EMSCULPT® NEO usually requires at least 4 sessions held 5 or 10 days apart. Each session lasts around 30 minutes and does not require any special preparation or post-treatment care. The lack of anaesthesia also means you can go about your day as normal immediately after the session.

During the treatment, you can lie either on your stomach or on your back and relax. When administering an EMSCULPT® NEO treatment, we place an applicator (called a paddle) on your buttocks or your lower abdomen and secure it in place with a belt. You can also adjust the intensity of the device during the treatment, which ensures you will not experience any discomfort or sensitivity. EMSCULPT® NEO triggers very strong muscle contractions that conventional exercise routines simply cannot achieve. This helps the muscle to gain more mass than before and thus begins to alter its internal structure. The treatment also eliminates fat cells at the same time. The result? How long does an EMSCULPT® NEO treatment last?

The duration of an EMSCULPT® NEO treatment can vary, but each session usually lasts around 30 minutes. Including a brief pre-treatment and post-treatment routine, customers spend around an hour at our clinic. We normally offer two sessions per week, with a two-week interval between session weeks, for a total of four sessions.

Are there risks involved in EMSCULPT® NEO treatments?

It is important to be aware that the EMSCULPT® NEO technique uses magnets and must not be used in the vicinity of any metallic objects. You must therefore tell us in advance if you have a pacemaker, an IUD (copper coil) or any other solid, metallic objects fitted in or to your body. In some cases, you may experience slight muscle soreness after the treatment. Although the treatment is generally very low-risk.

EMSCULPT® NEO is equally suitable for men and women. Our male clients tend to use the treatment to build up their abdominal muscles, while women often choose to tone and firm up their buttocks.

Is the treatment painful?

EMSCULPT® NEO treatment is not directly associated with pain. We apply two paddles that induce muscle vibrations, which can feel rather strange during the first session. However, by the end of the second session, most people have already become used to the sensation.

How often can the treatment be repeated?

Treatment with EMSCULPT® NEO can be repeated as often as you like. A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended for effective therapeutic results. In order to permanently maintain the therapeutic effect, regular refresher treatments are required once or twice a year.
